Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I got to work at 7:30 but had to be at the customer at 8:00, so no time to mess around. I needed to weigh light at Barbours Cut truck stop, then drop ar Centauri just a couple of blocks from the branch.
I returned to the branch to get the second trailer going to the same place. I circled the branch looking for the trailer and could not find it! So, I go in and tell Mario that I could not find it. He said it there somewhere, so I drive around a few more times. I did not see it. I go back to dispatch and they said that they would track the trailer down on the computer. So relax in the drivers room and chat with Ronnie Martin and a few other drivers. Mario then tells me that the trailer is actually in Canada!
Now I hear that the food is on it's way. So I hang around and help bring out pies. I'm now told that another trailer will be cleaned and a 90-day inspection done first. So I eat lunch, which was BBQ from Tony's in Deer Park, and afterwards they gave me a trailer to take to Nalco in Sugarland, TX. I get that done I return to the branch and find the trailer in the shop. Wait about two more hours before the trailer is ready. Dropped at customer and the day is done.
