Hello everyone. Praise the Lord!
I had a load from Pasadena to Corpses Christi today. Went to Agrafos to load the sulfuric acid and I had to wait about 30 minutes before the loader came out to the rack, which is unusual for them. They are having a turnaround, which is a unit repair and refit in which they have to shut down the unit.
So the road going straight was blocked with equipment. Behind me a flatbed truck had parked in the middle of the road to be unloaded. So after I was loaded I couldn't leave because I was blocked in. So I'm waiting and the forklift they were using got stuck in the ditch! So they have to pull him out to finish unloading.
He gets unloaded and heads to the gate. I'm right behind him but I'm loaded and heavy and the dirt road is kinda uneven and possibly unstable so I back up slow. I get to the gate and guess who is there blocking the exit? Yes the flatbed truck! He is busy stowing away his tarp and gear. I have him move this time since he should have known better. Flatbed drivers!
The load went smooth to Equistar in Corpus Christi, TX. Made my usual coffee break in Victoria, TX. Didn't get back until 1:30 that morning.
